The Ordering Process

  1. Contact us and speak to a member of our Sales Team who will take your order and explain what the Client-link Service includes. Ask us about our editorial content for your existing website or having a new website created for your accountancy practice.
  2. Once you have place your order, a member of our development team will get in touch with you to discuss our requirements in more detail. Your will be asked to complete a questionnare and provide information abut you business, a design requirement, and forward further relevant information
  3. For editorial content, we will forward instructions on how to include the content on your website.
  4. For websites, you can preview the website we have prepared and suggest adjustments. Once it is approved we will prepare to make it live.
  5. When editorial content is in oplace or your website is live, your client-engagement newsletter will be achivated.

Launching your website

  1. Do you provide website domain names?

    No, we do not provide domain names. It is easier if you control your domain name so that you can maintain your existing email infrastructure. We can recommend an appropriate domain name and similar variations to protect your brand.

  2. Do you provide emails?

    No, we do not provide emails as part of your domain name. Changing your domain name will not affect your existing email infrastructure.

  3. What if I already have a website domain name?

    Our team will help point your website domain name to your new website once you have approved it and it is ready to be launched.

  4. How do you launch my new website?

    Once your site is ready to be launched we will provide you with instructions to follow to make you domain name show your new website.

  1. How can I have your content within my website?

    We supply a simple iframe codes that you can put in the appropriate pages.

  2. How often is the content updated?

    All our content is frequently updated. Latest news is updated every week. Newsletters are updated every two weeks. Monthly Focus is updated every month.

    Our iframe codes will fit in seamlessly with your website and pages provided.

Emailing & GDPR

  1. Do you send emails out on my behalf?

    Yes, our website and editorial content solutions include, at no additional cost, scheduled newsletters featuring the most recent tax related news and headlines. These include your branded logo, any additional branding, and links back to your website.

  2. Can I send emails out myself?

    Yes, you will be able to send your own emails using our in-house email solution. You can send scheduled emails or random emails.

  3. Is there a limit to how many emails I can send?

    Using our in-house email solution there isn’t a limit on how many emails are sent and the number of recipients.

  4. What about GDPR?

    All the contacts in your mailing list can opt-in to receive newsletters and news from your firm. They must also opt-in for any other communications from you such as marketing or promotional emails. This can be specified in the privacy policy page in your website.

  1. Will everyone be able to find my website?

    We develop your website using proven SEO best practices and incorporate the key search terms and phrases your clients use to find your firm.

  2. I already work with an SEO and marketing firm, can they work on my website?

    Yes, we can grant your SEO team access to the website; however, please be aware that we cannot assume responsibility for any issues that may result from changes they make.

What Additional Features Are There?

  1. Can I include videos?

    Yes. You can include videos from YouTube or Vimeo. Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo and use embed option to include these in your webpages.

  2. Can I include Google Analytics and Tag Manager?

    Yes. Our Backoffice requires only the ID Google Analytics and Tag Manager. You can find these once you have created your Google Account and set up profiles for Google Analytics and Tag Manager.

  3. Can I include our online portal software?

    Yes. Let us know which service your firm is using and share the login link with us. We provide a prominent link in website.

  4. How do I share content on social media?

    A majority of our content can be shared on social media using the share icon.

Making Changes My Website?

  1. Can I make changes to the website myself?

    You can make changes to the website yourself. You will be provided with access to the Backoffice of your website so that you may add and amend your website pages, post your own content, and administer your newsletter and mailing list.

  2. Can you make changes to the website for me?

    Yes, we can make changes for you. Our team is always on-hand to make any changes you need.

  3. Is there a charge for making changes to my website?

    Text edits and adding extra services, profiles, or news pages are free of charge. Charges may apply only if a request involves extensive development or functionality work, but we will always consult with you beforehand.

  4. Is it possible for me to change the design of my website?

    If you would like to change your website design, a fee will apply based on your specific requirements.

Website Design Service

  1. How long does it take until I have my website live?

    We aim to get your website designed and launched within 4 to 6 weeks. This can be much quicker if you provide all the following:

    • Information about your business such as its history, its aims
    • A list of services
    • Key members of staff and any short stories for each
    • A preferred design from our list of designs
    • Preferences for what editorial content you would like featured

  2. I already have a website, can I use the same design and content?

    Provided that you own the rights to the website and its content, this is possible. However, it may involve a fee. This is because we need to recreate the designs within our website platform and properly transfer the content into the new format.

  3. I have my own website, can I just have the content/information?

My subscription

How can I renew my subscription?

We'll send you a renewal invoice in plenty of time. It will explain the payment options. If you pay your invoice promptly, your subscription will continue without interruption.

How do cancel my subscription?

How many users from my business/company/partnership can access the online solution?

Your subscription only entitles one user to access the Client-Link service.

What is your policy on cookies?

The content is for your own use. You can only share content with your client or other third parties on a one-to-one basis on condition that you clearly acknowledge Lefebvre Knowledge Ltd and Tax Essentials for Advisors as the source, it is not edited in any way and you do not attempt to pass it off as your own.
